Why the need for a new approach for sexual abuse recovery?
There are problems with the existing approaches to the treatment of sexual abuse. Sexual Abuse treatment that takes place through agencies and the medical model, involve long term therapies. These are often cognitive behavioural therapies, art therapies, a wide range of talk therapies, EMDR and support groups.
Many from this medical model believe that it is therapeutic to tell the story and often repeatedly and it’s important to unpack the situation or assault in order to process it.
Through this way of working people may progress over time from victim to survivor and get on with life. However, they often suffer low self-esteem, find it difficult to maintain good relationships and often suffer depression and anxiety and other mental health issues including substance abuse.
Who is Yildiz?
I am a registered counsellor, psychotherapist, clinical hypnotherapist and am registered with Australian Counselling Association and the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists.
I have a masters in counselling. Over the last twenty years of my private practice I have helped countless people out of the trauma they still hold, of sexual abuse that may have happened recently or a long time ago. This happens very quickly resulting in recovery and optimism in only a few sessions. Some victims may never have reported their abuse, while others have and even gone through the court system in their attempt to find justice.
However, even in those rare cases that are successful, the people concerned still find that the memories and feelings persist and they continue to feel tainted at a deep level and find it hard to let go of. Many sexual abuse survivors have gone through the medical model of treatment as described previously and believe that nothing more can be done to help them. In my practice the wide range of people who seek my help usually require only a few sessions to turn their life around and really move on with more freedom and optimism.

FROM SURVIVING TO THRIVING
Our mission at New Dawn. is two fold. To make revolutionary, cost effective recovery from sexual assault available to you in only a few sessions and practitioner training for those who wish to specialise in this area.
We have methodologies for the recovery of the psychological and emotional pain of sexual assault, so that you can leave it in the past and move on into a fuller life. The recent Royal Commission on sexual abuse and the ‘me too’ movement have shown us the extent of sexual abuse in society. See Science Direct At New Dawn, we know that even though sexual abuse is a traumatic and life-altering experience, through many years of experience with our clients that recovery is possible. There is no longer a need to remain a survivor when we have the means to assist you in recovery relatively quickly.
“Trauma from sexual abuse has dogged me for most of my life, I’m now in my early 50’s. I was sexually abused by a trusted family friend from the age of 3yrs old until I was 10. The trauma was so intertwined in my life, clouded everything I did, that it just became normal.
Whenever I walked onto a bus or was in new surroundings, I would scan the area for the safest spot and quick exits, without even realising. It impacted my marriages and how I raised my own children. I had attended counselling sessions in my 30’s and tried CBT in my 40’s, but it didn’t really help.
Then I was devastated by the news that two of my own children had also been abused. This was my worst nightmare coming true. It threw me into the depths of depression, and my family in turmoil.

“I had a pattern of sexual abuse that started with my father at the age of 6 and continued with sexual abuse in terms of date rapes. I had spent many years in weekly sexual abuse survivor groups. Initially this was good in not feeling so alone with my story, but later I realised we were all stuck in our abuse. Working with Yildiz has been life-changing as I have been able to finally leave the abuse pattern in the past and re-establish my-self-esteem. Since then, five years ago I have moved on and am in a lovely relationship for the first time and am a proud mother. Thanks you so much Yildiz”

“At first I was unsure as to whether Yildiz could help me resolve my issue around a sexual assault that I only came to formally acknowledge recently after many years of supression. I was frightened at the prospect of entering into a cycle of retelling my story again and again, instinctively it just didn’t feel right, and wondered if there was another way. Not long after, I found New Dawn and Yildiz. Her approach is like nothing else I have experienced previously when it comes to approaching and resolving significant abuse. I use the word resolving but would also like to add in dissolving, within 3 sessions I have been able to confidently move forward in my life, in many aspects of my relationship not only with others but most importantly with myself. I felt completely supported and safe for the entire process, Yildiz, thank you for what you have offered me, I am very grateful”

We know what we are doing. We know that you are unique and so our approaches are designed to be adaptable for safety to assist you in rewiring your brain. At New Dawn we provide powerful, effective and gentle processes that require only a few sessions for positive outcomes. In this we go far beyond existing traditional programs. Traditional approaches often consist of counselling, talk and art therapies and the management of symptoms with cognitive behavioural therapies and the teaching of strategies. Instead we use the latest thinking in Mind Science, neuroscience and epigenetics and Systemic Constellations and the powerful new approaches Rapid Core Healing and Emotional Mind Integration. These are presented in my book Rapid Core Healing.
While It is true that the facts of what happened in sexual abuse and sexual assault can’t be changed – at New Dawn, we know it often has devastating effects on many levels that may last a life time. We offer a new and effective approach for those who are ready for change. Our intention is to assist you in regaining justice and dignity on the inside, so that you may leave memories of sexual abuse where they need to be, in the past.
We can also assist you in recovering from sexual abuse, sexual assault or sexual harassment in the workplace.

We have safe techniques that have been designed for effectiveness, safety and relative speed.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
We know that even after the physical damage has healed, a survivor’s mental scars may persist. The good news is that recovering from sexual assault doesn’t have to take a long time. The majority of our clients require only 3-5 sessions for significant recovery (male and female).
HOW LONG IS A SESSION?
A session lasts between 60 to 90 minutes.
In Person or ONLINE Sessions may take place at the New Dawn Recovery From Sexual Abuse Clinic Wynnum Qld or online Zoom sessions, if you have reliable internet.
WHAT PROCESS DO WE USE?
We have developed Cutting-edge Tools and processes thanks to the best of former psychotherapeutic approaches and developments in neuro-science and epigenetics. These processes provide healing pathways to safe, deep, fast and lasting recovery.
Yildiz Sethi has developed ways that provide positive results in only a few sessions through her work with people over the last twenty years. She is the psychotherapist at New Dawn who has founded and trademarked Emotional Mind Integration (EMI) and Rapid Core Healing (RCH) and she is also a Systemic Family Constellations therapist and trainer
Common Questions that people ask
Q Can I bring someone with me to the sessions?
Answer You may bring someone to the preparatory session if you want to.
You may bring someone on a therapy session and they will be able to sit outside, not in therapy session with you.
Q Can I record the sessions?
Answer No that is not helpful as it is harmful to listen to such a session as you may return to the start of the session and all the good work will be lost.
Q Should I journal the sessions afterwards?
Answer Please do not analyse or journal what you remember of the session. The unconscious mind is processing it in the background as such analytical processes my disrupt or stop the integration process.
Have a cuppa, a walk, a short nap or something to eat and enjoy your time after a session or get on with your day.
